The Geography and Environmental Science Society at York is established to provide an environment where undergraduate Geography and Environmental Science students can to socialize, educate and support each other.
Our club promotes cooperative business models on campus by providing experiential education with an active cooperative on campus. We also advance campus sustainability through ethical procurement and public outreach.
HealthyPlug promotes healthy eating for all students at York and in the local community. We want to educate and support healthy eating practices. We also assist those who face financial barriers and require specific dietary needs.
HULT Prize @ York gives students an opportunity to participate in a HULT Prize event on campus, allowing the winning team to bypass the traditional application process and fast track their idea through to one of five regional final rounds of competition.
HPYU will focus primarily on campaigning for the condemning of dog meat trade and declaring support for dog rescue operations as well as campaigning against the use of animal fur for commercial purposes. HPYU also heavily promotes plant-based eating.
