News on how to get involved, bi-elections 2013-14!

Hey New College,

Interested in joining student government? Representing your fellow students? Or just looking for a way to get more involved?

Here is an excellent opportunity for you!

New College Council will be holding its 2013-2014 fall bi-elections. We have five new positions opening up on New College Council as follows:

1.        Commuter Representative

2.        Residence Representative

3.        First Year Representative

4.        Social Representative

5.        Athletic Representative

6.        Vice President Public Relations*

If you wish to run for any of these positions please go to New College Master's Office, room 140 Atkinson to pick up a nomination package. All nomination packages must be signed out at the location of pick up by providing your name, student number, contact information and position of interest.

All New College affiliated students can run for New College student council, packages can be picked up fromMonday, September 23 – Monday, September 30.

Monday, September 30 at 6:00 p.m. there will be a MANDATORY all candidates meeting.

All details can be found within the nomination packages, BUT if you have ANY questions now or in the future regarding New College Council elections, please refer them to New College Council’s CRO, David McIsaac atcro@newcollegecouncil.com

*Our amazing Vice President Public Relations is unable to complete his term due to personal reasons. This position is now open for the bi-election period. Candidates must be skilled in Adobe Photoshop, After Effects and any other image editing tools required or related skills (as reviewed by the elections committee and CRO), must be able to create vector files and create and maintain websites.
